The DEPLOYED project aims to bring together researchers from the domains of geoinformatics, remote sensing and cartography, and agricultural science, currently working at the Department of Civil Engineering and Geomatics (Faculty of Engineering and Technology) and the Department of Agricultural Sciences, Biotechnology and Food Science (Faculty of Geotechnical Sciences and Environmental Management) of the Cyprus University of Technology, to work and experiment in simulated (controlled) archaeological open-to-air environments. Each one of the PI is expected to contribute significantly to the project, while the synergies of all PIs will provide clear evidence for the formation of cropmarks.
